We are excited to announce the start of our rock sampling campaign in Tuscany—an essential step in the NHEAT project!
Our team of structural geologists has collected quartz veins and hydrothermally altered rocks from various sites near Massa Marittima, Italy. Through detailed structural and geological analyses, we aim to understand whether—and how—hydrothermal alteration can generate natural hydrogen.
This region, home to the actively exploited geothermal fluids of the nearby Larderello field, offers a unique setting to explore the potential formation of natural hydrogen through hydrothermal processes.
