We are pleased to inform you that the CNR-IGG team, as part of the NHEAT project, has successfully continued its sampling activities in Tuscany. During December 2024 and January 2025, multiple fluid sampling campaigns were carried out in the Libbiano and Biancane areas of the Larderello geothermal field. These efforts resulted in the collection of both water and gas samples, which serve as valuable resources for ongoing geochemical and isotopic analyses. The data obtained will contribute to a deeper understanding of the area’s hydrogen generation potential.
